MYP Maths, Highest Common Factor (HCF)

A number which is a factor of two or more other numbers is called a common factor of these numbers. Using the method of finding prime factors we can find the Highest Common Factor (HCF).
The numbers 24 and 32 can be analyzed to a product of prime factors as following
24=2*2*2*3
32=2*2*2*2*2
we observe that 2*2*2=8 is the highest common factor of 24 and 32. :D :D
