MYP Maths, Lowest Common Multiple

The Lowest Common Multiple – LCM of two or more numbers is the smallest number which has each of these numbers as a factor.

Multiples of 12 are : 12,24,36,48,60,72,84,96,108,120,..

Multiples of 15 are : 15,30,45,60,75,90,105,120,..

As seen above the common multiples of these numbers sre 60, 120,..etc and 60 is the smallest of these. Thus the lowest common multiple LCM is 60.
